As summer begins, we are all looking forward to great activities, trips and summer fun! Be sure your pet is ready to travel or board at a kennel safely. We have pet first aid kit lists, and can discuss any health risks your pets may face if traveling to other parts of the country. Double check that your pet's vaccinations are current by giving us a call or checking on your pet portal.

As the summer heat progresses, keep your four legged family members cool and comfy! Lots of fresh water, shade and ventilation are a must if your pet will be spending a lot of time outdoors. Remember, it takes mere minutes to reach a deadly temperature inside the car. Even if you are just going to run in, don't leave your pets in the car.

Our short faced friends, such as bulldogs, pugs, Bostons, Persians and Himalayans all having a harder time breathing anyway. They are at increased risk for heat stroke and breathing problems in heat and humidity.
